Project bio and what we did
Recycled sets, reclaimed space, and a screen full of first films.
We served as Creative Producers and curators for Expressions of Resilience, a major joint initiative in partnership with Beyond the Box CIC and BUILDHOLLYWOOD.
Reclaiming public space in Shoreditch at 1 Quaker Street, the project was designed as both a sustainable exhibition and a movement, using 90% recycled TV and film sets to build public zones: The Sandbox, the Tearoom and the Kitchen.
We launched a high visibility open call inviting early career filmmakers to submit vertical short films on survival and community adaptation. The cultural programme opened with a large outdoor screening showcasing TRY42 Vertical Cinema and the SFS series, bringing together 35 emerging London artists and attracting over 700 attendees.
“As part of the cultural program, Braulio and his team showcased their groundbreaking Vertical Cinema series.”
