BBC Football Academies: When Chasing a Dream Becomes a Nightmare

Academy football promises a future and quietly discards most of the boys who chase it. This BBC News piece follows one of them: a south London player told he would never play again, describing it as one of the hardest things he has had to deal with mentally.

TRY42 co produced the piece with the BBC, handling direction, cinematography, lighting, grade and sound, and delivering it for broadcast with the TRY42 watermark. It reached 52,803 views on TRYSUTTIN's own Instagram alone, 82.5% of them from people who did not follow the account.
